THE SPIRAL UNDERLYING LIFE AND HEALING

There are many examples in nature of the spiral shape, shells, rams horns, water going down the plug hole, the pattern of leaves in many plants.

The spiral shape is also crucial in invisible ways. Our cells replicate through molecules of RNA and DNA, one spiral shape forms the pattern for another spiral shape and this is the basis of life.

It is the way our bodies heal when they are cut, new cells forming to repair the damage. Healing is embedded into nature, dependant on the spiral shape.

The Christian Fellowship of Healing is committed to offering listening and healing prayer to people of all faiths or none.

We do not understand how prayer works but we do know that for many people the natural healing processes of the body are speeded up by prayer.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, come in and ask for prayers to be said for you or for someone you know. We will pray for them daily for 8 weeks. You can have laying-on of hands and if you wish you may stay and join our small Bible Reflection groups.

This article was written about the garden in our old premises and the spiral shape expresses metaphorically that turning inwards and reflecting on our lives. Looking at things from a different perspective or angle is a healing process often enabling a re-orientation or re-forming of ourselves.

We are glad to say that from time to time people experienced something we often call a miracle, a change or shift that is beyond normal shape and form, a step beyond what we know or understand.
