MEMBERSHIP
You are welcome to join our groups at any time.
Our
GROUPS are made up of teams of people who commit to being available for prayer
support. If you come at a regular time of the week you begin to be regarded as
a member of the team which meets at that time. Growing, learning, and led by the
Spirit, we discover where each can be used best in the team. Newcomers generally
try different mornings or afternoons discovering which seems most suitable and
healing for them. We are commited to prayer, and we learn more about it by doing
this together. Those who are unable
or do not wish to make any commitment may become a FRIEND of the Fellowship.
They pay a subscription and receive the Newsletter three times a year along with
other information, but do not have voting rights. They are welcome, however to
attend groups, and any other events. FULL
MEMBERSHIP is for those who are ready to make a regular commitment to the
work. MEMBERS of the Fellowship, as well as paying a subscription, make
a commitment to one or more aspects of the Fellowships work. This commitment
is made afresh each year at the Dedication Service, usually held at the beginning
of October. Membership is thus renewable each year. Commitment may be to a regular
attendance in one of the groups; to being a receptionist (subject to selection
and training); to the Ministry team (subject to the Chaplains approval);
to small or occasional tasks of house care, of administration, or of helping at
events, or becoming a home intercessor. If
uncertain about becoming a member please contact the Secretary/Administrator or
the Membership Secretary.
Both Friend
or Full Members pay a standard subscription of £15. Please give what you are able, the minimum being £10.
You may like to pay by means of Gift Aid (if you are a tax payer) please ask for
a form.
FINANCE:
We do not charge a fixed fee but invite you to contribute as you feel led and
are able. Ours is a faith ministry trusting God to provide through
His grateful people. Please consider your financial support for us prayerfully.
We receive no official grants from
any church or denomination but are wholly dependent on regular giving, donations
and the occasional legacy or gift. If you are a tax-payer please consider completing
a Gift Aid Declaration.
